RTA OrderPro is a Digital Solution Provider (DSP) to the DfT’s DTRO hub and are actively participating in the private beta to help DfT develop a futureproof, TSRGD compliant data model. RTA OrderPro has a highly innovative solution for Highways Authorities who do not need or want a DSP to enable them to upload their mapped orders from standard off the shelf GIS software to the DfT’s DTRO hub. Any GIS file type is accepted as well as any type of order, including TTRO’s, Experimental Orders, Static, moving, off street Orders and non-TRO items. Traffic Regulation Orders
The 2004 Traffic Management Act and the 1991 Road Traffic Act place obligations on the Highway Authority regarding the way it assesses, implements and reviews TROs.
There is a clear duty to identify congestion points and take action accordingly. The Acts cite the implementation and enforcement of TROs as one of the prime factors affecting congestion.
